Oilers win NHL draft lottery; Blue Jackets stay at No. 8 spot

The Edmonton Oilers’ uncanny run of luck at the NHL draft lottery continued last night in Toronto. So did the Blue Jackets’, but in the other direction. The Oilers leapfrogged Buffalo and Arizona and earned the No. 1 overall pick for the fourth time in the past six seasons.
