NEW YORK: The NBA has fined the New York Knicks for Phil Jackson’s comments about Ohio State freshman D’Angelo Russell. Jackson watched the Buckeyes’ 81-57 victory over Nebraska last Thursday and afterward told Cleveland.com that Russell was a “great-looking kid” and a “great prospect.” NBA spokesman Tim Frank confirmed the fine Tuesday night but did not disclose the amount. Columbus Crew SC partners with local leading station CD102.5 FM as official English-language radio home of the Black & Gold

Columbus Crew SC today announced that it has partnered with CD102.5 FM, making the locally owned and operated alternative rock station the official English-language radio home of the Black & Gold in 2015. The deal includes simulcast audio from Dwight Burgess and Neil Sika as co-hosts, as well as the return of the weekly radio show “Inside Crew SC.” As part of the agreement, all 34 Columbus Crew SC matches will be simulcast on CD102.5 FM. Alex Ovechkin scored twice and former Blue Jacket Jason Chimera had two assists to lead the Washington Capitals to a 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets in a penalty-filled Metro Division game tonight in front of 12,915 in Nationwide Arena.
