If you were missing football already, here are a couple dates for the diary. Sunderland have confirmed two friendly games for this summer as part of their Premier League preparations. The summer fun gets underway against Darlington at Heritage Park, Bishop Aucklund, just as it did last year. The new manager, whoever it is, will take his side to face the Quakers, who are led by former Sunderland midfielder Martin Gray, on July 9 for a 7.45pm kick off.
