Swansea City defender Alan Tate joins Crewe on loan

SWANSEA City defender Alan Tate has joined League One club Crewe on loan.  The 32-year-old, who spent time on loan at Yeovil Town and Aberdeen last season, will link up with Steve Davis's side as they prepare for Saturday's home fixture with Colchester United.  Tate joins a Crewe side who have also clinched the loan signing of Febian Brandy, who spent two temporary stints at the Liberty in 2008.
