Swansea City stalwart Alan Tate suffers ruptured hamstring

ALAN Tate's bid to get fit for the new season has suffered a hammer blow after the Swansea City stalwart ruptured a hamstring.And boss Garry Monk has revealed the long-serving defender had already accepted a Premier League return would be beyond him even before the injury struck.Tate had loan spells at Yeovil and Aberdeen last summer having fallen out of favour with Michael Laudrup.The 31-year-old fans' favourite, who has a year to run on his Swansea deal, might have left again this month...
