Wantaway United goalkeeper fails in exit bid

Lindegaard will have to rot in the reserves for a few months yet. The signing of Victor Valdés has put paid to Anders Lindegaard's solid if unspectacular career as Manchester United's backup goalkeeper. Unsurprisingly, it has forced the Dane to look for another club, though so far he has failed in his bid.
