Manchester City 1-3 Leicester City: Player Ratings

Report cards for City's players after falling to the league leaders. Joe Hart (7.0): Jamie Vardy will look back at this game film and wonder how he did not get on the score sheet. Hart came up big and did his part in this game, but there was not much he could have done on the first two goals. Leicester's third goal, a header by Robert Huth, was the softest, but faulting the netminder was not the biggest culprit on the play. Pablo Zabaleta (6.5): Last time around, it was Bacary Sagna who started at right-back against Leicester. Sagna was a rock in that 0-0 draw, but Zabaleta was inserted...

Player Ratings: Sunderland 0-1 Manchester City

Report cards for City's players after earning three points on the road. Joe Hart (7.5): He flew all over the place to preserve the clean sheet. Sunderland piled up quality scoring chances, but Hart was up to the test time and time again. He would surely have been beaten by Lamine Kone's free header from a set piece (which sailed wide), but he made a brilliant save on Jermain Defoe's powerful low shot and was strong with his punches all evening. Bacary Sagna (7.5): Sunderland is a sneaky offensive team. Sagna dealt with the danger the home side posed and was calm with and without the ball....

Player Ratings: West Ham United 2-2 Manchester City

Report cards for City's players after a draw on the road. Joe Hart (8.0): Hart lobbed in a contender for save of the season when he soared to the top corner to deny Dimitri Payet's free kick. The goalkeeper was hardly the culprit on the two West Ham goals (both scored by Enner Valencia). However, neither shot rocketed past him, and it looked as though he would maybe be able to keep one or even both out. Both goals came from close range, though, as Hart once again provided no reason to doubt him. Bacary Sagna (7.5): The consistent Sagna is such a threat moving forward, and he rarely...

Debuchy: "I cannot stay at Arsenal"

The French defender decides he needs to go elsewhere. There are always those players that a team signs for whom one has very high hopes. A player who, for whatever reason, was either struggling at his current club but clearly had talent, or was very good and wanted to progress his career by signing for a bigger club. Mathieu Debuchy was the latter. He had already displaced Bacary Sagna in the French national team at the 2014 World Cup, and was signed to do the same at Arsenal after Sagna left for Manchester City. Things didn't really work out the way Debuchy wanted, though, as he quickly...
