Cano was activated prior from the Injured List prior to tonight’s game. In his first game back from the Injured List, Robinson Cano was removed prior to the start of the fifth inning with left quad tightness. The New York Mets activated Cano prior tonight’s game against the San Francisco Giants. To make room for Cano, the club designated Aaron Altherr for assignment.
