MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins have placed right-handed reliever Addison Reed on the 10-day disabled list with tightness in his triceps.The move was made before Wednesdays game against Kansas City, the first trip to the disabled list in Reeds seven-year major league career.In 41 games in his first season with the Twins, Reed is 1-5 with a 4.83 ERA. The righty reliever was one of the top setup men in baseball the last couple of years, but has been struggling now in 2018. When the Twins signed Addison Reed before the season, they likely planned to slot in the veteran right-hander as the top setup man for the season. They probably expected him to be a reliever that would post a sub-3.00 ERA and lock down the opposing team in high leverage situations.
