Oakland A's will recall Pat Venditte, reports CSN California

The Athletics switch-pitcher returns after additional time in Triple-A to demonstrate his strained right shoulder was fully healthy. The Oakland Athletics will recall ambidextrous reliever Pat Venditte to their bullpen before Saturday evening's game against the Baltimore Orioles, according to a report from Joe Stiglich of CSN California. Friday night's spot starter, Brad Mills, is a likely candidate to be designated for assignment. Mills tossed five innings and allowed three runs on seven hits while striking out one, and walking one.
