Velocity down for Brett Myers in rehab start

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Manager Terry Francona said Thursday that starting pitcher Brett Myers's velocity was down in his most recent rehab start, MLB.com reports. He will need at least one more rehab start before returning to the Indians. Myers is 0-3 with an 8.02 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 12 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings this season.

Brett Myers feeling good after rehab outing

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Indians starter Brett Myers, who has been on the shelf since April 20 with a sore right elbow, feels good following his first rehab outing, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Saturday. Myers pitched three scoreless innings for Double-A Akron Friday. He gave up a hit and walked one over 28 pitches. "I felt good and more importantly I feel good today," said Myers, who will make another rehab start Tuesday before the Indians will decide whether he'll be activated.
