The Rockies won handily on Friday The Rockies won easily on Friday night, beating the Braves 11-5 behind a strong performance from Kyle Freeland and a whole lot of hits. Kiszla: He’s not Chuck Nazty any more. Would move from center field help Charlie Blackmon get his groove back?

Kiszla: He’s not Chuck Nazty any more. Would move from center field help Charlie Blackmon get his groove back?

Chuck Nazty can do no wrong in this town. Denver loves everything about him, from his Duck Dynasty beard to a walk-up song so bad it's cheesy good. But in order to do right by a weary Charlie Blackmon, the Rockies need to make a tough call and take action he won’t like. It is time for David Dahl to supplant Blackmon as Colorado’s center fielder.

Colorado Rockies: Could they pick up Mark Reynolds through trade waivers?

The 2017 season Colorado Rockies was dominated by three main men offensively: the always notable Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackmon, but the third man was outlier Mark Reynolds. With July done and gone, there is still a chance for the Rockies to get Reynolds on the team. How you may ask? Trade waivers.  Mark Reynolds […] Colorado Rockies: Could they pick up Mark Reynolds through trade waivers? - Rox Pile - Rox Pile - A Colorado Rockies Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and More

Kiszla: Is Rockies’ offense so bad 38-year-old Matt Holliday should grab his bat and hop a plane to Denver?

Kiszla: Is Rockies’ offense so bad 38-year-old Matt Holliday should grab his bat and hop a plane to Denver?

From Charlie Blackmon to Nolan Arenado, there are big bats throughout the Colorado lineup, but during these dog days of summer, they sometimes appear too pooped to pop.

Colorado Rockies: Lineup construction with David Dahl available

David Dahl returned to the Colorado Rockies’ roster on Sunday after breaking his foot on May 30. After drawing a late pinch-hit walk and stealing a base in the 5-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers, Dahl gave the slumping Charlie Blackmon a much-needed day off Monday, getting the start in center field and batting leadoff. Dahl didn’t disappoint, going 2-for-4 with a double and […] Colorado Rockies: Lineup construction with David Dahl available - Rox Pile - Rox Pile - A Colorado Rockies Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and More

Colorado Rockies: Charlie Blackmon addresses the “Coors Field stigma”
