Chase Anderson gets the ball to start Memorial Day weekend against Jerad Eickhoff. First pitch is 7:10 p.m. CDT. Hader coughs up another homer, Braves walk-off against Brewers 4-3 in 10 innings

Offense strands a small army on base. Box Score It was Chase Anderson’s return to active duty tonight, and his teammates on the Milwaukee Brewers gave him some breathing room in the first inning. Lorenzo Cain led off the game with a double, and with one out Ryan Braun drew a walk to put two runners on base. A Mike Moustakas fielder’s choice groundout moved Cain up to third, and Moustakas would later steal second base to put both runners in scoring position. Jesus Aguilar singled on the ground back through the box to score both of them, giving Milwaukee a 2-0 lead. The Braves got their...

Milwaukee Brewers activate Chase Anderson, option Jacob Barnes

Anderson is tonight’s scheduled starter. We knew a roster move was coming for the Milwaukee Brewers at some point today, as the scheduled starter for tonight’s tilt, Chase Anderson, needed to be activated from the injured list. The club officially announced the transaction this afternoon via Twitter, naming Jacob Barnes as the man hopping the shuttle back to San Antonio: RHP Chase Anderson has been reinstated from the 10-day injured list. He will start tonight. RHP Jacob Barnes optioned to Triple-A San Antonio. pic.twitter.com/NKuxR0LbcH— Milwaukee Brewers (@Brewers) May 18,...

Three out of four Milwaukee Brewers affiliates found themselves on the losing end Monday night. Despite that, a Brewers starter working his way back from injury made a positive step in his recovery. Rockies torch the Brewers 11-4

Rockies torch the Brewers 11-4

Bullpen game turns into a rout Tonight’s game against the Colorado Rockies did not start out as expected. Chase Anderson was supposed to make his third start of the year against Antonio Senzatela. Unfortunately, for Anderson, he was scratched from the start due to a finger laceration. Evidently the laceration is significant enough to land him on the 10-day IL. He was replaced on the roster by Corbin Burnes who somehow was teleported from San Antonio to Milwaukee to participate in the evening’s escapades. (He was actually in Iowa on the road with the Missions.) With the Anderson scratch,...

Milwaukee Brewers place Chase Anderson on IL, recall Corbin Burnes

Pretty quick flight. We learned only moments before the start of tonight’s contest between the Colorado Rockies and Milwaukee Brewers that Chase Anderson would be scratched with a finger laceration. But it appears that the front office may have had an inkling that Anderson wouldn’t be able to go tonight, as they somehow managed to pull off this roster move just moments before the game: RHP Chase Anderson has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right middle finger laceration. RHP Corbin Burnes recalled from Triple-A San Antonio.— Milwaukee Brewers (@Brewers) May 1,...

Chase Anderson scratched with finger laceration; Jacob Barnes to start for Brewers

Chase Anderson was scheduled to make his third start of the season tonight for the Milwaukee Brewers, but things took a turn as Anderson began throwing his warm up tosses: Jacob Barnes just ran out to the field to stretch and go to the bullpen before the game. Head athletic trainer Scott Barringer is checking on scheduled starter Chase Anderson.— Sophia Minnaert (@SophiaMinnaert) May 1, 2019 Chase Anderson was just scratched from tonight’s start. Game no. 31 thread: Antonio Senzatela vs. Chase Anderson

The Rockies look to score some runs in Milwaukee, preferably more than the Brewers The good news is that Christian Yelich is, once again, not in the lineup against the Rockies. The bad news is that Yelich’s absence hasn’t helped the Rockies actually win against the Brewers, having lost the first two games of this four game set. In their third try, the Rockies send Antonio Senzatela to the mound. He and the Rockies lineup will face Chase Anderson. Start time: 6:40 MT Lineups: #Rockies #Brewers lineups game 3/4. Brewers bats wake up in late-night win over Mets, 10-2

Brewers bats wake up in late-night win over Mets, 10-2

Brewers’ bats come alive after long rain delay, score 10 runs without a home run At the beginning of Friday night, it did not look favorable that a game would be played. After a long 2.5-hour+ rain delay, the Brewers and the Mets played a baseball game as rain continued to fall for most of the night. Chase Anderson took the mound after a strong performance against the Los Angeles Dodgers in his previous start and pitched well for 4.2 innings. He gave up five hits, two runs, and he struck out four. Jacob deGrom, coming off a stint on the Injured List, struggled with control all night....
