Chien-Ming Wang still with the Yankees

CBSSports.com Fantasy — The Yes Network reported Wednesday that Yankees starting pitcher Chien-Ming Wang has decided to stay with the team past the first opt-out date contained in his minor-league contract. Wang has an 0.95 ERA in three starts at Triple-A Scranton. He has seven strikeouts and three walks in 19 innings of work. His next opt-out date comes June 1, if the team has not called him up to the majors by then.

Chien-Ming Wang sharp for Scranton

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Yankees pitcher Chien-Ming Wang started for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Friday as he squared off against Syracuse, the New York Daily News reports Sunday.  Wang threw 5 1/3 scoreless innings for Scranton. He allowed six hits and didn't walk a batter. Wang struck out three.  Wang was signed to a minor-league contract in late March.
