Cristian Pache, William Contreras, Phil Pfeifer, and Tucker Davidson have all been sent to Triple-A Gwinnett to start the season. Photo by /Icon Sportswire via No split-squad sweep for the Braves on Tuesday Earlier today, a Braves split squad defeated the Houston Astros by a 3-0 margin. In the second inning of their nightcap against the Orioles, they jumped ahead by the same score, thanks to Cristian Pache’s three-run homer. However, that score wouldn’t hold, as Grant Dayton, Phil Pfeifer, and a throwing error by Riley Unroe pushed the deciding runs across.
