The infielder’s deal includes a club option for 2018. The Diamondbacks have signed infielder Daniel Descalso to a one-year, $1.5 million deal, per a team announcement. FOX’s Ken Rosenthal adds that the deal includes a $2 million club option for 2018. Descalso, 30, appeared at five positions last season (all four outfield spots and left field), and will provide depth behind Brandon Drury, Chris Owings and John Lamb in the club’s infield while providing a lefty bat.
