Struggling Kalish gets night off

Sox Blog | Providence Journal — Ryan Kalish took a night off Friday as Darnell McDonald started in center field. The rookie has struggled at the plate of late, with one hit in his last 15 at-bats. The Red Sox have tried to limit his playing time against left-handed pitching, and Toronto started lefty Brett Cecil on Friday and has lefty Ricky Romero penciled in for Saturday.
