This date in team history, trivia, and the countdown! On November 28th, 2007 the Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins came together to complete a franchise altering trade in which six players were exchanged. Runner up, AL Rookie of the Year contender, Delmon Young, headlined the package that was sent to Minnesota, while the Rays received a starting shortstop in Jason Bartlett and a possible front-line starting pitcher in Matt Garza. The Rays have since come as the winner of this trade as both Garza and Bartlett provided three quality years for the Rays, helping them to the postseason twice...
