The Detroit Tigers have outrighted utility man Don Kelly and relief pitcher Evan Reed off the 40 man roster. The two players may now opt for free agency. Don Kelly has been one of the longest serving Tigers since being selected in the eighth round of the 2001 amateur player draft out of Mount Lebanon High School in Pennsylvania.
