Edinson Volquez and the Kansas City defense shut down the White Sox offense as the White Sox are still winless on the season. The White Sox entered the game looking for their first win of the season. They are still looking. The Royals completed the sweep with a 4-1 victory. Edinson Volquez threw eight strong innings and was aided by a couple of very good plays on his way to the victory.
