Juan Lagares to get MRI on Wednesday

NEW YORK -- Juan Lagares is due undergo an MRI of his right elbow on Wednesday morning after being forced from Tuesday’s game after four innings with what initially has been diagnosed as a hyperextended right elbow. Lagares Lagares injured the elbow on a fourth-inning throw from center field to second base that forced out Garrett Jones. He described the elbow as “sore.” “He did it one other time, in Cincinnati,” Terry Collins said, referring to an early September series.
