Pirates acquire Corey Dickerson from Rays

BRADENTON, Fla. -- The Pirates answered a significant question in their outfield on Thursday by acquiring left fielder Corey Dickerson from the Rays in exchange for reliever Daniel Hudson, Minor League infielder Tristan Gray and $1 million, according to a source. Dickerson should become Pittsburgh's starting left fielder, joining center fielder Starling Marte and right fielder Gregory Polanco in the Bucs' post-Andrew McCutchen outfield. Dickerson, 28, hit .282/.325/.490 with 27 home runs in 150 games and made the American League All-Star team last season.
