Clay Buchholz heading to Phillies after deal with Boston

The Philadelphia Phillies acquired starting pitcher Clay Buchholz from the Boston Red Sox, as first reported by Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, in exchange for second base prospect Josh Tobias, per Todd Zolecki of MLB.com. What It Means: The Phillies will pick up the $13.5 million Buchholz is owed for 2017, and he joins a rotation featuring Jeremy Hellickson, Jerad Eickhoff, Aaron Nola and Vincent Velasquez.
