Williams owns a 2.58 ERA in 52 1/3 innings between the bullpen and the rotation. He has allowed two runs or fewer with at least six innings pitched in his last four starts. However, the Angels will stick with Joe Blanton and his multi-million dollar contract in the rotation instead despite an ERA at 5.94 and 100 hits in 63 2/3 innings.
