Tigers' 2B Ian Kinsler denied Gold Glove again, despite leading MLB in advanced stats

However, former Tiger Yoenis Cespedes helped end a six-year drought without a Gold Glove Award for Detroit. The Detroit Tigers had three players nominated to win a Gold Glove Award, one being Ian Kinsler. And after being snubbed in 2014 by Dustin Pedroia despite leading in defensive runs scored, Kinsler was yet again robbed of the honor, not being named American League Gold Glove champion at second base. Jose Altuve wins Gold Glove at second base

Jose Altuve won his first Gold Glove award, the first Astros second baseman to win since Craig Biggio in 1997. Altuve committed only five errors and had a .993 fielding percentage.
