Castro’s grab was one of few highlights from Detroit’s 13-0 loss. Utility player Harold Castro might not be around for long — he seems like the odd man out when either Jordy Mercer or Josh Harrison come off the injured list — but he has once again made the most of his time in Detroit. Not only has he shown his versatility, playing four different defensive positions, but Castro is also batting .267 in a handful of plate appearances. Tigers place Josh Harrison on 10-day injured list

Harold Castro has been recalled to replace Harrison on the 25-man roster. The Detroit Tigers were hoping to get a couple of their injured starters back in action this week, but so far are just treading water. The Tigers placed second baseman Josh Harrison on the 10-day injured list with a left shoulder contusion on Tuesday afternoon, just minutes before opening their mid-week series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
