Twins Now | St. Paul Pioneer Press — Thing 1: Josh Roenicke struggled mightily trying to close this one out. Two walks and three singles off the former Rockies right-hander led to five earned runs in 2/3 of an inning as Roenicke was lifted for lefty Caleb Thielbar. He was only slightly better. Roenicke, who is out of options, had put up five solid outings (2 ER in 7 IP) before Wednesday night. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said it looked like Roenicke was "out of whack" with his mechanics, flying open on the front side and leading with his chest.
