Griffin Canning pitched well, Angels defense didn’t cooperate

Buttercup the song is gone, Buttercup the reality is not Angels 3 Rangers 4 Griffin Canning showed once again that is ready for the Big Leagues. It may have taken him 95 pitches to get through 5 innings, but Canning allowed only 3 hits and 1 run (a 1st inning leadoff homer) and he struck out 5. The Angels offense backed him - sort of.
