Ryan Hanigan hits first homer

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Reds catcher Ryan Hanigan entered Saturda against the Phillies with two RBI in 52 at-bats, a total he more than doubled with one swing. Hanigan hit a three-run home run in the second inning off Phillies' starter Kyle Kendrick, his first of the season. He added a walk and a run scored to finish 1 for 3 in a 10-0 win. Hanigan is batting .164 with five RBI in 55 at-bats.

Kyle Kendrick has rare stumble

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Phillies starting pitcher Kyle Kendrick failed to throw a quality start for the first time Saturday since his first start of the season, losing 10-0 to the Reds. Kendrick pitched six innings for the eighth start in a row, but allowed four runs on eight hits and four walks. He also struck out two, his first start of the season with more walks than strikeouts. He allowed a three-run home run in the second inning, but then settled down. Kendrick is 4-2 with a 2.82 ERA. His next start is scheduled for Friday against the Nationals.
