When the Cincinnati Reds traded star right-hander Luis Castillo to the Seattle Mariners last summer, they moved one of the final remaining faces of their franchise. Once Castillo got to Seattle, he immediately established himself as one of the new faces of an emerging Mariners club, pitching his tail off en route to a playoff appearance and a new, long-term contract.
