Luke Hochevar rejoins Royals

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Luke Hochevar waited about a year and three months for this day. A spectator for all of 2014 as he recovered from Tommy John surgery, the right-hander officially rejoined the big league club on Thursday. “It’s been a long time coming,” Hochevar said. “Going through a year of rehab, it gets boring and it gets monotonous and you want to get back here.
