Ryan Brasier sent back to Triple-A

CBSSports.com Fantasy — The Angels optioned reliever Ryan Brasier back to Triple-A Salt Lake Monday, the Los Angeles Times reports.  The move clears a roster spot for Mark Lowe to be activated off the disabled list.  Brasier appeared in two games after getting recalled May 1. He allowed two earned runs on two hits, including a homer, over two innings with three Ks.

Mark Lowe expected to be activated Tuesday

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Angels reliever Mark Lowe, who is on the 15-day disabled list with a neck strain, is expected to be activated for Tuesday's series opener against the Astros, MLB.com reports. Lowe will finish up his rehab assignment with Class A Inland Empire Sunday. The right-hander is 1-0 with a 11.37 ERA to go along with eight walks and six strikeouts over seven appearances (6.1 innings).
