A visit to Dr. James Andrews earlier in May did not reveal any structural damage, but Dotel has hardly progressed. "It's going to be a while before we see Dotel here, I think," manager Jim Leyland said. There is no firm timetable for Dotel's return.

As originally suspected there is no structural damage to Dotel's elbow, despite ongoing discomfort. The bad news is the prescription given was more rest.
