Paul Janish activated from DL, optioned to Triple-A

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Braves shortstop Paul Janish has been activated from the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. He has completed his rehab assignment while recovering from shoulder surgery and will serve as depth in the minors for the Braves.

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Braves shortstop Paul Janish, who has been placed on the 15-day DL as he continues to rehab from shoulder surgery, participated in a Triple-A game Tuesday, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.  Janish had a double and grounded out in two plate appearances. Janish on the shelf retroactive to March 22. He hit .186/.269/.234 in 186 plate appearances last season.

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Braves shortstop Paul Janish could need an additional two to four weeks before making his season debut as he continues to recover from shoulder surgery, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Janish, who signed a one-year deal during the offseason, had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder last October. He was originally expected to be sidelined until early April.
