CBSSports.com Fantasy — Astros starting pitcher Philip Humber accepted his assignment to Triple-A Oklahoma City and was scheduled to join the club Friday, according to MLB.com.Humber went 0-8 with a whopping 9.59 ERA through nine appearances (seven starts) in the majors before he was designated for assignment .

CBSSports.com Fantasy — It just keeps getting worse and worse for pitcher Philip Humber. After being moved to the bullpen last week, Humber is not even on the roster anymore after the Astros designated him for assignment Sunday. Humber was moved to the bullpen after losing his first seven starts and posting an 8.82 ERA. He tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings in his relief debut Thursday, but Humber dropped to 0-8 Saturday after allowing five runs on five hits and one walk in 2/3 innings.

CBSSports.com Fantasy — The Astros announced Sunday they signed reliever Edgar Gonzalez to a major-league contract. Gonzalez takes the roster spot of Philip Humber, who was designated for assignment. Gonzalez was with Houston earlier this season before being designated for assignment in early April. He was picked up by the Blue Jays and made a few relief appearances before being taken off the 40-man roster last week. Gonzalez has a 7.88 ERA in three relief appearances this season.

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel did not factor in the decision Friday against the Astros. Keuchel, who took Philip Humber's spot in the starting rotation, allowed two runs on five hits over six innings in the 4-2 defeat, including a solo home run off the bat of Nelson Cruz in the sixth.He also walked in a run with the bases loaded in the third and was pulled after throwing 83 pitches -- 53 strikes -- with the score tied 2-2.
