Mets Blog | ESPN New York — LAS VEGAS 4, FRESNO 3: Jamie Hoffmann's single with one out in the top of the ninth against ex-Mets reliever Ramon Ramirez scored Josh Satin with the tiebreaking run. Jeurys Familia, inserted in the closer's role in his first game since a demotion, picked up his first professional save with a scoreless ninth despite surrendering a pair of two-out hits. Darin Gorski allowed three runs (two earned) in five innings in his Triple-A debut. Gorski stepped into Las Vegas' rotation with Aaron Laffey's promotion after originally being assigned to Binghamton.

Rauch lands with Marlins

Mets Blog | ESPN New York — Jon Rauch has signed a one-year deal with the Miami Marlins after spending the 2012 season in Queens. Also Tuesday, Ramon Ramirez signed a minor league deal with the San Francisco Giants, joining Angel Pagan and Andres Torres. Those were the players swapped last offseason in an ill-fated trade for the Mets.
