Roy Oswalt drawing rave reviews

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Rockies pitcher Roy Oswalt is drawing rave reviews after his first rehab start of the season, according to the Denver Post. Oswalt was throwing in the low 90s in a five-inning outing Saturday. Rockies senior vice president of major-league operations Bill Geivett said Oswalt "had very good command" during the appearance. He will make his next appearance Friday at Double-A Tulsa.

"He had a better fastball, and his stuff was better, also," said Rockies pitching coach Jim Wright, who had not spoken to Oswalt, but received a report on the outing.The right-hander is scheduled to throw five innings or 75 pitches again on Saturday and barring a setback, he should join the rotation at Double-A Tulsa next week.
