The other hero on the night was Mike Napoli who clouted his 11th HR in the sixth to provide the eventual martin of victory. De La Rosa won his third game of the year, lowering his ERA to 2.64. So, The Carmine Hose have won six of their last seven—continiting their revival in Post-Pierzynski Era.

Rubby De La Rosa has been rolling hard sevens on a routine basis as a starting pitcher for the Red Sox.De La Rosa reached his desired destination for the fourth time this season in last night’s 2-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals at Fenway Park.In his seventh start of the campaign, De La Rosa pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run on five hits, walking four and striking out one. The effort was statistically similar to earlier seven-inning performances against the Tampa Bay Rays, Minnesota Twins and Oakland A’s.
