June 5, 2013CBSSports.com Fantasy The Dodgers announced Wednesday that they expect reliever Scott Elbert to miss 12 to 16 months after having Tommy John surgery next week. Elbert is set to have his third surgery on his left elbow in the last nine months. He had scar tissue removed in September and had cartilage repaired in January. Elbert has been diagnosed with a complete tear of his left UCL, and he might not pitch again in the majors until 2015. Dr. Neal ElAttrache will perform the procedure.
