Carlos Frias and Scott Elbert make playoff roster

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers loaded up with 12 pitchers on their roster for the National League Division Series. If they elect to bring back Clayton Kershaw on three days’ rest, that would give manager Don Mattingly nine relievers to choose from. The only mild surprises were Carlos Frias and Scott Elbert making the roster and Paco Rodriguez, Darwin Barney and Joc Pederson being left off. The Dodgers will make do with two catchers, A.
