The Giants plan on using the same roster for the World Series

This. This is when Tim Lincecum throws six innings in extras and becomes a hero. There isn't a lot of spit-take news coming out of the pre-World Series media sessions. Someone asked Sergio Romo what country he was from. Ned Yost revealed that he got Vida Blue's autograph on a dollar bill once and then spent it that afternoon. Stuff like that. During Bruce Bochy's press conference, though, there was actual news: World Series roster will remain the same from NLCS, Bochy said. Must be set tomorrow so no changes as long as everyone's healthy. — Andrew Baggarly (@CSNBaggs) October 20,...

Romo To Red Sox Rumors Running Rampant

()If the Red Sox decide to let Koji Uehara walk this off-season, there will be a limited number of internal and external options to fill the critical ninth-inning role. Edward 'Turn And Face The' Mujica is probably not the answer and neither is Junichi Tazawa. One rumored outside option is San Francisco's displaced closer Sergio Romo (who last night gave up the game-winning HR in the 9th to Cardinal Kolten Wong). Giants players boycott media member

Some Giants’ players have been boycotting Andrew Baggarly of CSN Bay Area after he reported reliever Sergio Romo and special assistant Shawon Dunston were involved in a shouting match in the clubhouse. Though the Giants clinched a wild-card spot with Milwaukee’s loss on Thursday, it hasn’t been a good week for the team. Five losses in six games, eight losses in 11 games. The Giants are back from a trip in which their players began shunning Baggarly in interviews. Baggarly works for an organization that is partially owned by the Giants and televises their games. He wrote Romo and Dunston...
