Tim Lincecum on pitching again for 2015 Giants: ‘I don’t see why not’

ARLINGTON, Texas — Tim Lincecum, speaking Saturday for the first time since being diagnosed with degenerative hips, was confident he’ll pitch again this season. “Yeah, definitely,” Lincecum said. “With the way I’m progressing and with the way my throwing program has been going, I don’t see why not.” Lincecum threw off flat ground before Saturday’s Giants-Rangers game, 50 to 60 throws from 60, 75, 90 and 115 feet, and said he felt fine.
