Padres Interested in Tommy Hunter

With the bullpen being a major concern for the Padres heading into 2016 (as well as shortstop of course), one option that has emerged is veteran reliever Tommy Hunter. As reported by Jeff Sanders, the Padres might be able to get Hunter relatively inexpensive and count on Petco Park ticking down some of his numbers. Tigers interested in former Orioles closer Tommy Hunter

Hunter struggled to a 4.18 ERA with the Orioles and Cubs in 2015. Everyone is looking for the next Wade Davis. Originally a failed starter, Davis transitioned to the bullpen, where he ratcheted up the velocity, developed the devil's cutter, and became so dominant that you actually have to google when he last gave up a run. The Kansas City Royals have Davis under club control for two more years, and we hate them for it. Not every failed starter is going to turn into Wade Davis, but many of those failed starters still become solid bullpen arms. Enter Tommy Hunter, a guy who Twitter Fail...
