Brewers’ Josh Hader booed at AT&T in wake of offensive tweets

Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader, pitching in his first road game since his offensive tweets from seven years ago re-emerged, was the target of some booing Thursday night at AT&T Park. The left-hander was summoned from the bullpen down the first-base line with two outs in the sixth inning and needed one pitch to retire Brandon Crawford, who hit into a fielder’s choice. Hader also pitched the seventh and got the win. As Hader warmed up, a police officer and security guard stood behind the bullpen mound, which they did for every pitcher getting loose....
