Newman, the New York Yankees' senior vice president of baseball operations, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in Tampa, Fla., on Monday night, March 8, 2010. Newman reportedly refused to take a blood-alcohol test,police said. He was released several hours later on $500 bail.
