Ethan White and Taylor Kemp start for the Richmond Kickers against the Carolina Railhawks

Black And Red United — The Richmond Kickers played their second preseason match this weekend, but the first that included D.C. United players. Both Ethan White and Taylor Kemp started against the Carolina Railhawks, while Conor Shanosky played the entire second half. Shanosky was kept out of the starting lineup by Phillippe Davies, formerly of the Vancouver Whitecaps and a recent call-up to the Canadian National Team. These three players seem to be slam dunks to be loaned to Richmond, with the final player likely coming from a group that includes Andrew Dykstra, Casey Townsend, Syamsir Alam, and Lewis Neal. ...

MLS First Kick 2013 Countdown: 15 days - Where does Ethan White fit into the center back (and fullback) depth chart?

Black And Red United — Tomorrow, there will be two weeks until D.C. United's 2013 season kicks off. But today, we look at the man in the black no. 15 shirt, Ethan White. The University of Maryland product got to College Park through the D.C. United Academy, and he was signed to a homegrown deal prior to the 2011 season. That year, injuries and a tragically thin roster led to some significant minutes for the Kensington, Md. native. Last year, White saw no time with the first team, instead relegated to the reserve squad and short stints with the USL-Pro Richmond Kickers (now officially affiliated with United)....
