Vermes: Ike Opara fit and ahead of schedule

Good news from Sporting Kansas City on the injury of Ike Opara Following the news that centerback Aurelien Collin had been traded to Orlando City, Peter Vermes released some good news on the next centerback on the depth chart in Ike Opara. Vermes told the media that Opara is fully fit and ahead of schedule in his recovery from an injury that happened back in March. He suffered from a Chondral Defect in his right ankle and underwent surgery in April, ending his season.
