Now in his second go-round with Crew SC, the forward faced former team Sporting Kansas City for the first time. When the starters posed for their traditional pregame photo moments before kickoff, Kamara added a 12th member to the image when he grabbed his baby daughter and held her for the picture. Then in the 72nd minute, with the Crew trailing 2-1, Kamara was subbed off early for midfielder Cedrick Mabwati.
