Pappa, Pineda score, Sounders beat Dynamo 2-0

SEATTLE (AP) — Marco Pappa scored in the 69th minute and Gonzalo Pineda converted a penalty kick 6 minutes later as the Seattle Sounders snapped a two-game losing streak with a 2-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo on Sunday night. Pappa scored his third goal of the season, a hard shot from the left of the penalty area restraining arc that ricocheted off the foot of Dynamo defender David Horst and past goalkeeper Tally Hall.
