Honduran national team midfielder Luis Garrido will be suspended for the Dynamo's season finale Friday night at the Chicago Fire. Major League Soccer's disciplinary committee reviewed the tape of the Dynamo's last match and decided to suspend Garrido one game and fine him "for endangering the safety of an opponent in the 25th minute of the game against the New England Revolution on October 16." Garrido, a holding midfielder, has been one of the Dynamo's best players since joining the team this summer.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- As deserving as he was for a national team call-up, Lee Nguyen said Wednesday that he wasn't surprised he didn't hear from U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann ahead of last week's friendly versus Honduras. Despite leading all pure midfielders in MLS with 17 goals and scoring a league-best eight game-winning goals, Nguyen said that with his team looking to lock up second place, he wasn't expecting to get the call for Klinsmann. "I knew it was a long shot," Nguyen said.
