Pacers Playoffs Links: Andrew Bynum won't be available to play Hawks in Round 1

The Pacers hope to have Andrew Bynum available at some point in the playoffs but they will have to get through the first round against the Hawks without the reserve big man. Andrew Bynum looked the part of a healthy NBA player at the Pacers practice on Thursday, showing up in full practice uniform with shoes and socks and everything. Except he didn't actually participate in the practice, instead watching from a familiar seat on the sidelines. After practice, Frank Vogel ruled out the option of using Bynum in the first round, according to Pacers.com. But Vogel didn't rule out Bynum for...

Pacers still trying to put together what Larry Bird broke up

The Pacers continue to desperately piece together a strong team dynamic to make a playoff run after coming apart down the stretch of the regular season. The answer didn't need any words. The pursed upper lip, averted eyes and deep breath before answering revealed all you needed to know about how the Pacers felt. Andrew Bynum was still days away from evening joining the team, but everything had changed. David West, Paul George, George Hill and even Frank Vogel, all dutifully answered questions about Bynum's addition the night the move was announced, but there was no genuine enthusiasm or...

Pacers Injury Update: Andrew Bynum out indefinitely for Pacers, allows opportunity for halftime haircut

The Pacers announced that Andrew Bynum is out indefinitely while C.J. Watson also remains out with a hamstring injury. Watson's return is expected before Bynum, but at least the big fella will look good on the bench. Andrew Bynum and C.J. Watson were both out for the Pacers when they beat the Bulls on Friday night which will be the case for the team's game in Memphis on Saturday. Bynum apparently took advantage of the extra time on his hands at halftime to tighten up his cut, with the Pacers' favorite barber making a 'House call at the break. Bynum will need to look good on the bench for...
