Michael Beasley has been a pleasant addition to an injury filled front court season for the Miami Heat. After two consecutive 10-day contracts, the Heat inked Beasley for the rest of this season. A few days after the Miami Heat signed forward Henry Walker for the remainder of the season, the Heat also inked Michael Beasley to a deal that will keep him in South Florida for the rest of this season. Beasley, in his third stint with the franchise, has been a pleasant addition in the wake the season ending injury to Josh McRoberts, and the season ending ailment to Chris Bosh. Beasley has even...

ReHeat: Heat over rule Kings

A season that continues to get more and more entertaining one comeback at a time. By the time the starters were announced for the Heat tonight, you would think it was Miami that was 18 games under .500 entering tonight.  A final lineup of Shabazz Napier, Dwyane Wade, Henry Walker, Udonis Haslem and Chris Andersen were announced only minutes before tip off, the 25th lineup of the year. Just let that sit for a second. That means out of 62 games, almost every third game would have a different lineup. If Coach Spo decided to start Michael Beasley it would of been 2008 all over again. What a...

Miami Heat sign Henry Walker to second 10-day contract

Henry Walker was impressive and helpful during his first 10-day stint with the team, and it earned him a second contract. Walker's contract expired Monday at midnight and the Heat didn't waste any time resigning him. Walker will be with the Heat for another 10 days and then the Heat will have to decide to let him go for good, or sign him for the remainder of the season. It will likely come down to how well Walker continues to do, and if any other...

ReHeat: A player-by-player look at the Heat @ Pelicans

A quick second look at the Heat's loss in New Orelans. I would of passed it to Henry Walker. While I tend to give Dwyane Wade a pass often because superstars know best and I don't like playing the result, he let go of the shot with 3 seconds while Walker was waiting to take a three. Sure Eric Gordon would of closed on him but last night I would of trusted a contested Walker more than a contested Wade. Walker was 4-9 from beyond the arc while Wade was 0-4. Wade had an off-night but his teammates were able to carry the load offensively while Wade facilitated. So wouldn't it make sense to...
