From Bosh to Beasley

Third time's the charm? Here I was thinking Andray Blatche would be the answer. Instead the Miami Heat chose to go with a familiar route. A third chance for it's second overall draft pick over the span of ten days to prove something. Unlike any other season, this season's roster has had one reclamation project after the next. Early injuries to Dwyane Wade and season ending injuries to Chris Bosh and Josh McRoberts opened the door for Tyler Johnson, Hassan Whiteside, Henry Walker and now Micheal Beasley. The shoes Beasley has to fill isn't small either. Miami is going from Chris Bosh, a 6-11...

Heat visit Orlando Magic after nice outings from Dragic, Walker

Vucevic has had a history of dominating Miami, but now he'll have to face Hassan Whiteside. The Miami Heat will look to build on Monday night's win over the Philadelphia 76ers that included promising showings from newcomers Goran Dragic and Henry Walker. Miami will visit the 19-39 Orlando Magic, a team that sits just above Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference standings, Wednesday at 7. Orlando is on a three-game winning streak, though. Nikola Vucevic has dominated Miami in the past -- in Orlando's 102-101 win over the Heat Dec. 29, Vucevic made 12 of his 17 field goal attempts and...

Name change gives Heat's Henry Walker fresh start

Miami Heat forward Henry Walker considered it a sign of maturity.

Henry Walker’s nasty dunk

Here is a good way to keep a job. Seriously, even if you do not play basketball for a living, no one will ever fire you if you put on a show like this at work. Henry Walker, playing his first NBA game in nearly three years, gave the Heat 11 points off the bench in Monday’s win over Philadelphia. It is a good start for a guy who is on ...

Miami Heat 119, Sixers 108: Too Much Dragic

With Michael Carter-Williams gone, a new era of tiny point guards has begun in Philadelphia. Isaiah Canaan, Ish Smith and Tim Frazier bring both positives and negatives to the Sixers' lineup. It's truly a shame the new-look Miami Heat are without Chris Bosh the remainder of the season. With Goran Dragic in the mix, Miami's pace-and-space offense under Erik Spoelstra is far more electric than with Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers dominating the ball. Dragic scored 23 points on 14 shots and dished out 10 assists as well. The Heat's offense was legitimately fun to watch, even as Henry Walker...
